Any form exposed to the wider Internet is subject to spam, but what I didn't expect is that the spam would show up within five minutes of my making the Wiki tools available on my site!

Anyway, the obvious solution is to invoke the modbot explicitly for any suggestion coming in from an exposed Web form.
