DataWiki

Actually, I probably shouldn't use the name "DataWiki", since there is a MediaWiki project of the same name. But they seem to have ground to a halt, while I have got an actual first stab running (the to-do list for this Wiki tool, and similar to-do lists for other projects.)

A link to data is defined using a .data file in the same directory (or parent directory) of the pages using the data, and a tag scheme defining the lists themselves. When the page is woven, if the query is a static query, a "data_manip.pl" script is called to retrieve the information for either a list or a single record. Edit forms are also defined by the same script.

The entire thing calls a datasource script which is placed outside the page tree of the site, so that any passwords it contains can remain secure.
