wolverines!

are featured in an article in the new york times science section this week: http://www.nytimes.com/2005/04/12/science/12wolv.html?8hpib

my two favorite bits: the line "Wolverines are wildly peripatetic."

and the information that father wolverines seem to do some parenting of their young. they describe a young female that would hang out a few days with her father, then be on her own, then come back...pretty neat.

Why you shouldn't base your life on nature

It's sort of like me! I hang out for a few days, then magically disappear for...eight months...wait. I guess I'm not so much like wolverine babies as I'm like an utter slacker. Ahem. :)
