There were some moments in this film. Unfortunately they were surrounded by the rest of the film, but I guess you just can't have everything.

Favorite part (besides some nice shots of the female lead, who was appropriately good-looking despite being named James): background music over the last couple of minutes is "I saw the sign", and suddenly the male lead actually sees a physical sign, which says, "Today is the first day of the rest of your life" and has an epiphany. That bit alone was worth suffering through the rest of the movie.

It's frustrating when the writers obviously had some good ideas, but just didn't follow through with the rest of the movie. You think, "Jeez, I could do better than that." Maybe I couldn't, but dammit, I could at least do that well.

IMDb gives this one a 4.5. I think that's undeserved. It wasn't Baby Geniuses, after all. I've got *some* taste.
