Bear in Heat
Awww! You guys are so sweet! I feel all warm and fuzzy from being welcomed (and defenestrated) so thoroughly!
Speaking of warm and fuzzy, it's like a bazillion degrees here in NYC (does anyone else have a mental image of a cow saying 'New York City?!?!' and a craving for salsa when I say that?) and I'm concerned about Ilya.
When I pull up the comic in all this heat...does the bear suffer cause he's got all that fur *and* a hat on? My husband (who would like his title to read 'Beleagured Husband of the Newest Jihad Member') posits that if someone were to pull up the comic in Alaska at the same time I had the bear up, it would mitigate the effect. I was wondering if, in the extensive reseach I feel certain goes on in the Toonbots family, this issue had been addressed. It keeps me up at night.

(No membership card in mail. Asked postal worker about it, but she looked too hot and likely to be bearing arms (I couldn't resist...and probably should be shot for it) to seriously consider her answer.)

No worries, that's why we have an Alaskan Jihad member in the first place.
And don't forget -- the Constitution guarantees you the right to arm bears.

Bah, ignore last message. It was poor humor at best, and targeted at our newest jihad member's enthusiasm, well... it wasn't funny. I'm sorry.
I was laughing at the bear message and Michael's response and the line came to me. After going back and rereading... it came off poorly at best.

'Sides, I /am/ jittery. Well, I dunno if I'd use jittery, I'm really only jittery if I drink something with caffiene in it.
