Visual XML editor: Project with no good name or acronym

I'm a sucker for overambitious projects, but this one could be quite the killer app. The ideal is to provide something approximating a DocBook editor. Free. This could give Word a run for its money, eh? Who wants a proprietary format when you can be generating XML and DocBook?

PROJECT

 Yet another experiment in paid open-source programming. The most complete documentation of what I'm proposing is, of course, the proposal itself. More will follow. I have some specific plans with respect to integration with some components of the wftk.
