First toon    Previous toon    Next toon    Today's toon
The metacartoonist awakes from a brief nap and realizes it's 2005, another year closer to the Singularity, and the gaping maw of minimalist cartoon fandom must needs be fed, and so herewith he presents for the delectation of political newsjunkies everywhere the iconic representation of America in the last election, knowing full well that the vast majority of sane individuals will have no fricking clue what a purple America is, but still and all seeing in that purpularity a sign of hope for the future, that still small voice of reason reasserting itself in the new century, off to a rocky start but still not quite devoid of hope -- and so with this iconic start, the metacartoonist wishes all and sundry a Happy New Year, a happy Year of the Rooster, and is looking forward to International Talk Like A Pirate Day, 2002. Arrrrrr.
