For the festive mood of the holiday season, Toonbots now appears in a lovely autumnal orange. The tone of the orange-on-black setup, the white-on-black bridge, and the explosion of the denouement in a stunning deep blue on the traditional white caption background; all these elements combine in an exquisite tour de force of captioning.

The gopherine dot is, of course, now relegated to a mere footnote in the dusty tomes of history, as the reliance of the Toon-o-Matic on an external bitmapped background is no more. The Toon-o-Matic can now generate its backgrounds whole cloth from the digital ether. We stand truly at the dawning of a new era of automated cartooning.
