Hey! I rather like that version myself. I'm sure gopher will appreciate the hat. And the open mouth maked the teeth more easily distinguishable, and makes him seem more rodent like.

Plus it puts me in mind of his prolific posting. ;)

Is there something about rodents that implies obsessiveness or tendencies towards spam?

I think it's the open mouth she's talking about.

Yeth. I forgot that the 'it' is vague. If any of my previous English teachers were dead, they'd be bursting out of their graves to stuff me in a trashbag and put me by the curb.

Did any of them were blue?

Emsworth's English teachers are next.

Until further notice, I hereby am on Uber-Defenestration-Mode with regards to English teachers: I see 'em, I toss 'em. Thus perhaps Ems and myself will not be tossed ourselves.

Apologies to any innocent English teachers or associates of same. I'm only acting in self-defense.

Capital idea. What about calculus professors, though?

For them, it's bloody death.

Thrice over.

Ha. Back in the misspent days of my youth, I had quite an interesting calculus professor. Dr. Sherman. He had once been picked for the NFL, but chose to go for his math doctorate instead. The man's biceps were larger than most people's thighs. He was brilliant, and one of the best math teachers I have ever seen in my life -- didn't matter *what* the lesson was, once he'd explained it, you understood. And the whole thing done in this kind of football-coach mannerism (which was more affectation than anything.)

Gray eyes. Could easily have been the Grey Lensman.

I drew my first comic strip in that class. Vectors in Space. Submitted it to the school paper, and they lost it. Dimwits.

Everybody now:

VECTORS! IN! SPAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACE!!! (woosh)

And so, in this reality, Michael's fame and fortune are pushed back many years by the fat-fingered ineptitude of his school paper. In other realities, Michael is a multi-billionare living off of the royalties from "Vectors in Space, the Movie".

Exactly. This was in 1984. The Muppet Show was much more recent. Page 769: Vectors in Space -- I crossed out Vectors and wrote in Pigs. Then I started thinking...

I coulda been a contender.

Dash it all! I really need to check my posts more carefully. "Wear," not "were." And to think that I'm currently serving as a proof reader for a friend from another forum, who's writing a fanfic for another strip. What's more, I happen to be an English major myself! Le Sigh.

The more I look at this, the better I like it.

Maybe there's hope for me as a graphics man after all.

Hey, with a Jihad behind you, there's nothing you can't do!
