The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou - 9.5

Weird, tres weird. My daughter and I loved it; my wife didn't see the point.

But worth watching, and Bill Murray's great in it. Heck, everybody's great.

"Day 28 -- rescuing the bond company stooge" kind of says it all.

"Goodbye, Cody." I still need to buy it, even if just for the stop-motion sea critters, and the use of Portuguese David Bowie songs.

Oh man, Emsworth, you'll love it. The humor is just so deadpan and off-the-wall. My daughter and I cracked up every time the guitar player appeared.

I think you misunderstood me. I've seen it, and enjoyed it (not the non-Emsworth approved language, which alas is too common in even good films these days, but in general). I just haven't bought it yet. Now it's in the markdown racks at the video rental stores, I probably will.
