Charlie Stross's new book, Accelerando, is out. He's released it with an open-source text license in HTML format at accelerando.org -- I highly recommend it. There was a point in the book where I distinctly felt my brain reboot.

Anyway, it's a twenty-first-century moment because it's the story of the twenty-first century, at the end of which life will be completely unrecognizable and normal humanity will be obsolete. He makes a couple of assumptions I find dubious, but it's a good read all the same. Go read it.
