Bambi fought in Vietnam...

Or at least, his voice did. http://film.guardian.co.uk/interview/interviewpages/0,6737,1415266,00.html

An interesting, if somewhat sad, story, in time for both the release of the Bambi special edition DVD at the beginning of March, and the release of the dreaded Bambi II later this year. I'm not sure what M. Dunagan thinks of the latter. Probably, "Well, beats getting shot in the scrotum." Which is hardly the kind of ringing endorsement Disney wants to use on its video packaging. (Though the presence of modern-day great Andreas Deja, lead animator on Gaston in Beauty and the Beast, Jafar in Aladdin, Scar in Lion King, and non-villainous characters, notably Mickey in all of his most recent, major theatrical appearances, is somewhat encouraging, as is the presence of Patrick Stewart as the voice of Bambi's father. The fact that the movie *includes* Bambi's father, aparently taking place some time between mom's death but before Bambi grows up and fights a buck for Faline and so on, is not encouraging, but what can you do?)

You say you want a revoluuuution, but you know, we all wanna change the world.

All Disney movies involve broken families, if possible due to the death of a parent right on screen.
