Not to get too political...

But there is something very wrong with this image, methinks, which probably says a lot about the US approach to Iraq and the war in general.

Yeah, apparently they use Elmo for torture. (Not a joke.) We asked CTW what they thought of that, to no avail -- they ignored us.

but that really is an odd image...one does wonder what the guys who put pooh and daffy there were thinking. i've also seen pictures of rosaries hung on the barrels of tank cannon. i just don't know.

Dash, I now can't find the thread with images from the Iraq "chariot races," to burn off steam. Astonishing proof that military life actually can outweird M*A*S*H reruns.

Because horses can be forced to swallow explosives, or otherwise trained to behave as equine dissidents, carrying "We HATE US AND ALL DECENT PEOPLE" flags in their mouths. That, or the current military field leadership is dominated by crazed Zane Grey and Louis L'Amour fans.
