preliminary celebrations

(only because the way this past week's gone, i'm likely to forget or be distracted next week)

cheers for the defenestration of prague!

actually, i'm not sure that's the proper way to celebrate...i'm about ready to throw my boss out the window (which would be more traditional...but probably not a good career move)

We can defenestrate Michael. He's not around, he won't notice.

ooo, i like that! it has several levels of appropriateness.

It does, but his absence actually lessens the affect, as we can't hear his screams as he tumbles through the glass apertures.

If all goes well, and if swelling on fingers (from painful balloon surgery to create Uncle Scrooge) diminishes, I may be able to commemorate the day with appropriate ceremony later on.

That, and we're all too busy engaged in revels, as Chris' anniversary of birth occurred the other day, and Nappy's is today. Long may she defenestrate. Thus why the Defenestration festivities have been extended.

Last person through the glass pays the medical bills!

....hmmm...defenstration day...napoleon's birthday.....one wonders if this is entirely coincidental.

still - happy days, all!

.....balloon surgery? that sounds like a procedure with a really low recovery rate. still - hope the fingers improve rapidly.

and we can come up with all _kinds_ of ceremony....
