i've only seen pictures, but basically, they're just mobile blobs, right?
[crotchety grumble] in _my_ childhood, if we wanted mobile blobs, we had to get out there and mix the goop for them ourselves. _and_ we had to push them around to make them move...spoiled brats these days....[/crotchety grumble]

Well, yes. But that really fails to capture the essential surreality of the show. I mean, deep-into-LSD-land-grade surreality. Not clever Toonbotty surreality, but the real missing-some-brain-chemicals kind of surreality.
I'm sure I'll grow to like it, if my son stays home sick a few more days. :-)

we were just discussing the nature of addiction here in the office yesterday.
i have no idea why the notion of booh-bahs growing on you inspired that memory...
(and now the notion of booh-bahs growing on you has me _really_ freaked out. i feel i should immediately notify Infectious Diseases.)

If I were an artist, I'd modify Michael's icon on the toon to have booh-bahs sticking out of his head. But I guess I'll just have to mention this, and hope that Emsworth does it for me or something. :)
