do _all_ webcomics have these strange attached sites? or is it just toonbots that attracts this sort of thing?

*all* of them. without exception. this is an application of the discipline of _Structured Dreaming_, which allows to tap into websites hosted on parallel worlds. the example before us is an element of the tensor product of the news spaces of CNNReality (TM) and the venerable Toon-o-Matic (PBUI), and as such may be somewhat more hallucinatory than most. it also shows some signs of recurrent application: behind the _are you blind_ link one may expect to find various news stories, including one (...discuss.pl?read=5088 x ...haiti.protest.reuters/index.html) investigating an uproar over braided dreaming among the Tonton Macoute, with portals to wolverines...

really, i am amazed how fittingly this engine has matched content with category:

EDUCATION: _read the disclaimer_ and _raw, unadulterated_ (though perhaps that could fall equally well under RELIGION);

BUSINESS: _Paul Roustan_, and, one must admit, _or something_;

POLITICS: _it, well -- you're Cool Enough._ and _Feng Shui as applied to Humor_;

LAW: _Reviews of various Webtoons_ and _Today's toon with XML source_ (resources for the amicus curiae);

ENTERTAINMENT: _More of the same from Octember 2000._ (showing great perspicacity here), to _WIDESPREAD CRITICAL ACCLAIM_;

and even

TECHNOLOGY: _More of the same from December_ and _November 2000._ (when, indeed, the lately hatched Toon-o-Matic was stretching its wings and beginning to show some signs of first fledging).

sweet! thank you, Chris, for adverting our attention hither.

This sidebar is hard to beat:

Toonbots

_Orange Guy_ Might be coming back Stateside soon. If, of course, they let me in.

Re: Toon-o-Matic takes over CNN?

see, this is the sort of stuff that made me wonder if it was a specifically-for-toonbots created site - because the stuff does seem to fit, in a totally twisted, toonbotian way...

pretty cool!
