What might have happened if Carl Barks and William C. Gaines had got drunk and decided to collaborate.

Gasp!

I forgot about the Comic Book Resources! I have over a year to read up on!

And for some strange reason, I'm thinking it's going to take longer than it did to get caught up on the Toonbots Forum (don't hurt me, Michael!).

Thanks, Emmy. I'm in fear of my cats. They've been eyeing me strangely ever since I went to that page. Litter Box Of Fear!

If you'd responded sooner, before I left, I could have picked you up a trading card set featuring some of the best Oddball Comics covers (such as "Space Western" and "Manuel Pacifico, Tuna Fisherman.") Well, maybe next year. I'm disappointed that we had to leave early on Sunday, before the con opened, so I missed the live Oddball Comics sideshow (with Julius Schwartz, the DC editor who thought gorilla covers boosted sales, as special guest, I hear.)

Jenn, if you stick around, maybe you could join us next year. I know it's a long way to fly, but we're hoping to get Nappy back, and perform some Jihadic rituals or whatnot. Hopefully I'll have time and energy to *finally* make balloon wolverines (had balloons with me, but a} was too tired and b} when I tried a couple of times, I had a heck of a time tying the thing before I even got to sculpting, so it just sat squeezing my finger until it popped [balloon that is].) I'm going to try to get my paper idea conceived and written early this year, so I'm under less pressure.

You are the bestest friend /ever/!!

I think I might actually like a wolverine balloon just as well, though. Maybe you could practice?
