Well, thus concludes my Coenological studies, with the last remaining Coen brothers film (except for the new one, which I'll get around to sooner or later)... The Big Lebowski has all the usual Coen elements (oddball characters with low affect, chaotic storyline, a fourth-wall-breaking narrator, a marmot, and bowling) but just didn't come together for me. An occasional flash of brilliance illuminating an otherwise drab landscape.

Oh well.
