Showtime - 8.5
Showtime has been widely panned as derivative (a parody of the making of a buddy-cop show which is unfortunately a buddy-cop show itself) and I agree they could have done better screenwriting, but it definitely had its moments. William Shatner is really getting to be hilarious in his self-parody.
There was a lot of metalevel humor going on there -- but man, what a tepid screenplay. I coulda done better.

Huh. I saw Independence Day for the first time on Sunday, too. I'm feeling oddly bonded to mouse. Suppose I'll start writing code soon?

Honorable mouse like abandonded shoe string end... out of the loop.
Jenn was referring to one of the protagonists of another slightly unusual online comic, "Pentasmal" (http://www.pentasmal.com/)

This is why I love Emsy so much. Even when I'm not sure what I'm referring to, he always knows! It's like he's my much smarter psychic twin!

I wish I had a smarter psychic twin. He could tell me those words that you can never remember, like... uh.. what's that one...
[[Serendipity]]
Yeah, that's the one!

More to the point, it's an unshifted ^. I knew when I typed that that nobody would know what the heck I was talking about.
