Oh, yeah. This one's a winner. Quirky, hilarious (check out the part in Indiana! I think I lived near those people!) A story of some abnormal people dealing with relatively normal problems, in a very complex web of relationships. A lot like real life in a lot of ways. My mother hated it. Go figure. My wife and I loved it.

My question: is Gene Hackman *capable* of acting badly? My answer: no. I love him every time. He brings a real richness to this role.
