ok, i just have to post this somewhere. there is an item in todays NYTimes about a cloned cat. the project was funded "by Sperling's Genetic Savings & Clone, set up with the intent of helping people clone their pets."

now why can't _i_ come up with puns like this?

Probably because you're not involved in genetics. It's the laboratory environment, you see. Affects one after awhile.
