I suppose a.m. and p.m. must be somewhat like Ante up the Mullah and Post no Missives ?
Otherwise it just makes no sense to me.

Well... I think I remember puzzling over dot, before she was Dot; though it was quite a while before i followed that `are you blind' link (yes i was, i can see that now)... But I mean, it always seemed to make some sorta sense, unfolding like the world discovering a new culture medium to colonize and invent life in... as if an underlying principle were shared with physics these hundred year, that some ideas are not strange enough to even be wrong, so you don't even stop to consider them. So a.m. and p.m. must have their own broken symmetry to account for them.
... and i think this may prove that i fall in the strange overlapping gap between not strange enough and way, way too strange
