Top that!

OK, OK, today's toon is pretty stupid. But hey, it's the result of fifteen minutes of intensive work. Umm, OK, maybe not fifteen minutes. Well, OK, I usually take longer to write posts on BoxJam's message board.

Ah, nothing like taking advantage of the Toon-o-Matic.

It made me laugh! Especially the last line, which I read in a Pinky (as in 'and the Brain') voice for some reason. Narf.

Heh, heh. "The same thing we do every night, Toonbot. We're going to take over the world." "Trout!" Yeah. That has possibilities...

Actually, I quite enjoyed it as well, but the exchange reminded me more of an old vaudeville crosstalk routine. Only natural that the all-wise dot would serve as straightman (or at least, straighter man.) Nice riff on Clement Moore, as well.

Why the sporadic fish references in Toonbots, though? Perhaps to distract ignorant readers from the true charm and subtlety which is the nature of the Toonbot. Yes, I suspect that the trout is really a red herring.

I thought rather highly of it myself. In case the meta-cartoonist gets carried away with the archiving again, though, I'd like to keep this groaner around a little longer.

And I'd like to interject here that ten of those minutes were in the background while I was doing billable work. Mwu-hahahahaaaaa! I love meta-cartooning.
