ok, so i'm finally getting around to reading the old archives ('cuz i'm just too depressed to work what with labor day and all) and today i read the ones about "they're coming to take me away" (the song), and this is pretty weird to start with because ever since i started posting to the toonbots forum, that song keeps running through my head, and i haven't heard it in, like, ages, probably not since i memorized it as a mere small child one summer years and years ago, and i thought "well, that's odd", but i shrugged it off as a mere coincidence.

then i went to my car to go home AND THEY WERE PLAYING IT ON THE RADIO.

on a soft rock station.

[To clarify this oddity, Napoleon told me about a monkey which was loose on a California freeway several months back, and somehow this ditty was the result. (I was probably over-tired at the time.) There's more verese, but that's all I feel like typing right now.]

musta happened in LA - that place is so weird people probably figured he was just hitching.
