I apologize, but it simply wasn't my favorite, that's all. Today's strip, however, amused me considerably. The idea of the Toonbots hacking into the source code was amusing and unexpected. Now this is the sort of humour I've come to expect from Toonbots.

And on a sidenote, I did a Deja search just for fun, and found that Toonbot's babelfish page was mentioned on the "alt.arts.bodyart" newsgroup. So apparently Michael has a few tatooed or pierced fans out there somewhere. Go figure.

And Michael, you still haven't got back to me on those cartoons. If you want a list of specific shorts, let me know, as I have less than two weeks before classes start up again. If you're no longer interested, that's fine with me, but please, let me know one way or the other.

THAT's better! I expect more adulation from you people! What good are fans if they're not sycophantic, that's what my grandma always says.

You suck.

In the interest of science, I ran this sentance through 'English to Napolean' babelfish (what, you don't have that on yours? Odd....) and then back and came up with the following:

"We're not worthy! We're not worthy!"

I think your fishy's off a bit. That sentence should actually have translated to 'I have lemurs in my left thumb.'

Babelfish error

Oh, you're right! I went back and immediately spotted the problem...I was translating from English to /Neopolitan/, not Napolean. A common enough error, but inexcusable really. A thousand apologies for my sloppy research.

I'm afraid you may be missing the point here, but from you, I'll take that as adulation.

Close enough.

::pulls a device from his closet, scratches out "THERMONUCLEAR PLASMA TORCH" which is printed on it in bold letters, and writes in "ADULATION BEAM"::
