Bot, bot, bot, bot, bot, bot ad nauseam

Somebody tell me when the current storyline (the *first* storyline) starts to pall, OK? I'm still having fun, but maybe you aren't.

It's better than that five-day gap back in October, though.

I'm still having fun! You've got this great Seuss groove going. Only Seuss would think bots and dots beneath him, I'm sure.

Bots, bots, bots and dots, Bots and dots and spots on pots...

Sorry, sorry. I'm done.

I'm not so sure. When asked why his drawings were of such strange creatures, Theodore Geisel replied that he simply couldn't draw very well. I always really liked him for having the courage not only to say so, but to draw cartoons that have influenced three generations of readers so far, *anyway*.

Hmm. Too bad I can't do props yet. Spots on pots sounds fun.

How can you ever be done with Seuss?

I also owe a tremendous debt to Sandra Boynton. If you're too old to have read Boynton and too young to have kids that do so, walk, don't run, to your nearest kid's section. Our copy of _Barnyard Dance_ is frayed and worn, and another of my favorites is _Birthday Monsters_... Although _Oh my oh my oh dinosaurs_ is awfully good. They're all good. She's brilliant.
