When asked why his drawings were of such strange creatures, Theodore Geisel replied that he simply couldn't draw very well. If you're too old to have read Boynton and too young to have kids that do so, walk, don't run, to your nearest kid's section. Our copy of _Barnyard Dance_ is frayed and worn, and another of my favorites is _Birthday Monsters_... Although _Oh my oh my oh dinosaurs_ is awfully good. They're all good. She's brilliant.
