Yeah! Scooby ending!

Ah the classics! Complete with an unmasking, some pesky kids, and nonsensical drivel. PLUS the promise of more to come (WOLVERINES), and no scrappy-doo to foul the pure sugar-coated glory of it all.

I also loved that the disgruntled former employee/sneaky thief/evil park owner turned out to be Dubya! Lets all go back to the mystery machine and inhale deeply!

Scrappy-doo is the Antichrist. That whole infantilization thing in the 80's was colossally stupid.

Misleading Panel Captions

Indeed, excellent Toonbots today. Wonderfully involved, and aside from the Scooby-Doo parody, I loved the Lone Ranger reference at the end. And of course Napoleon and Tirdun made splendid meta-cameos as "the pesky, meddling kids." Capital job.

However, one slight concern. I don't mean to seem overly fussy, but once again, in the last panel, we have another "NEXT: WOLVERINES" sign. Napoleon and I discussed this at the Con, and we find those signs to be misleading and increasingly frustrating. Please, I don't mean to offend, and due to the coding and so forth, while you may intend to include wolverines, sometimes it takes too long so you wait 'til next time. Fine, understandable, but don't you have at least a vague idea whether you'll be able to render wolverines yet or not? If not, please, stop raising our hopes, then! Or just forget about any "NEXT: WOLVERINES" notices, and just surprise us. I knoe you derive great pleasure from teasing your Jihad and frustrating their expectations, but we'd greatly appreciate it if you would reconsider your policy in regard to the wolverines.

And so would the wolverines. This continual disappointment has done little to gruntle them.

::Gwendolyn, Fenny, and Gawain growl despondently in Michael's direction::

(Seriously, while I may be over-reacting, this has begun to annoy me slightly.)

I think it's funny always to say "NEXT: WOLVERINES!" and then to get sidetracked again. MWUHAHAHA!

Seriously, eventually there will be wolverines. Until then, there will be wolveritudinous captions.

Is then running gag. Is running with gag until tripping over success. Am hoping for success soon with drawing wolverines so for us laughing at tripping gag. Am thinking wolverins to be enjoying appearance in tooth and aaAAGGHGH::pounce nip shred gnaw::

::Is wolverines showing grave dislike to faux east-slavic excess progressive register::

::Wolverines wish to state emphatic future pleasure at appearing in the tooth, however::

I think we have to keep spinclad, too.
