You're quoting CHENEY now?

The phrase hardly originated with Cheney. Talk about derivative. Big time.

But Cheney would be an interesting talking head.... Hmm. Not like there isn't plenty to laugh about in the current Administration....

Cheap Joke Alert: How many Supreme Court Justices does it take to screw in a dim bulb?

Oh, that's a good one. That's worthy of a Toonbots episode!

Moral of the story

Moral of the story: more forum traffic == more Toonbots. I've noted that the converse is also true.

Sniff. You've never used anything I've said in Toonbots. And I even tried making propoganda posters for you, when I should have been saving my academic career from defenestration!

Are my humble efforts truly for naught? Probably. Ah, well. Such is life, approximately, more or less, so to speak, or words to that effect. At least it isn't a permanent condition. I think I shall try to console myself by reading paperback novels in a distant manner, while pondering the confusion and uncertainty which is such a hallmark of modern life, and which, when manifested in Toonbots, lends a great depth and relevance to the issue. Incredibly poignant. That, or I've been reading too much literary criticism on Tom Stoppard's plays (I'm doing a paper on "The real Inspector Hound.")

Nice to see more of Hick and Chick, though.

Yet.

Sorry, Emsworth -- the Muse strikes where the Muse will. You'll get your fifteen minutes of fame sooner or later.

Incidentally...

Thanks. But it wasn't my joke. I stole it, slightly modified, from a TopFive list (http://topfive.com) (actual list is at http://topfive.com/arcs/t5032701.htm). You might wanna update that episode's blurb to reflect that; they hate it when their stuff gets used without crediting them (as very often happens).

I myself almost got to be a TopFive contributor once, but apparently I wasn't funny enough... *snif*
