The continuing experimentation by many hands on the Toon-o-Matic doth yield fruit (though none of it is suitable for canning; shame, since one does yearn for a good marmalade). In any event, the inspiring accident suggests further avenues of wordplay. But are all words play, or do they mask deeper ideas, fears, and foreboding? Are some words even allowed to play, or do their mothers keep them inside, practicing piano? Who *would* a word's mother be, in fact, if one assigns loco parentis to text? Keyboard? Motherboard? Alphabet? Certainly not Necessity, who is too busy making sure Invention washes behind the ears.
The answers to these and other questions will, in all likelihood, not appear within Toonbots in the near future.
