So I have this house. It's big. It's old. It was really, really cheap. And I'm making it a nice place to live.

This project started in March of 2009, when I purchased the place for $8000. Or maybe it started on May 15, when I saw the place for the first time. It will surely last for many years -- there's essentially an infinite amount of work in any old house.

My goal is to document what I'm doing, thoroughly, and to get the brainpower of as many people as possible. Your input is thus quite welcome. For now, I don't have much interactivity here (I'm still in the initial documentation phase) but feel free to mail me with any ideas or questions. Or emotional support. You'd be amazed how much it helps.

Ideally, I'd like to structure this as a workflow project, but I'm not sure how successful I'll be with that. Between the house and the paying work, I'm really insanely busy. But we'll see how it all works out over the coming weeks and months.
